Yuki Bhambri of India, along with his Dutch partner Robin Haase, secured a spot in the semifinals of the Brisbane International ATP Tour tournament on Friday. They achieved this by defeating the American pair Nathaniel Lammons and Jackson Withrow in straight sets. The eighth-seeded Indo-Dutch duo emerged victorious with a scoreline of 7-6 (5), 7-6 (6) in a quarterfinal match that lasted one hour and 36 minutes. In the upcoming semifinals, Bhambri and Haase will face the second-seeded team, which consists of Lloyd Glasspool from England and Jean-Julien Rojer from the Netherlands. It’s worth noting that Bhambri, a 31-year-old player from New Delhi, clinched his inaugural ATP title at the Mallorca Championships doubles competition last year, where he partnered with South African player Lloyd Harris.
