Amidst all this, Messi has been drenched with allegations regarding disrespecting Mexico’s national jersey and flag and was threatened by World Champion Boxer Canelo Alvarez.
A video has gone viral on social media of Argentina players celebrating in the dressing room and a joyous Messi can be seen shouting with joy. A green colored shirt, which many said was a jersey of Mexico is seen lying on the floor.

Some Mexico supporters and especially their boxing champion Canelo Alvarez who claimed that the PSG star was disrespecting the Mexico jersey and flag. His tweet reads,

After the incident, Mexico captain Guardado defends Messi after Alvarez threat and said he didn’t see anything ‘out of the ordinary’. Another renowned boxer Mike Tyson backed to ‘defend’ Lionel Messi after Canelo’s threatening tweet.
