The tournament, which follows a round-robin format with 23 initial matches, will continue until September 2. Notably, the prestigious Bermuda Bowl is the most coveted of all bridge trophies at the world level, whereas the Venice Cup is specifically dedicated to women’s teams.

The mixed teams will fight for the Wuhan Cup, while participants aged 65 and older will engage in the competition for the D’orsi Trophy. The knockout stage will feature the top eight teams from both divisions. The World Bridge Federation comprises seven zones, each of which holds selection trials to determine teams in accordance with the allocated quota. India, located in zone 4, successfully secured a spot in all four events following their triumph in the trials conducted in Lahore during the month of May.
