WOL vs MCI Dream11 Prediction | Wolves vs Manchester City

Last game of Matchday 19 of the Premier League features Wolverhampton Wanderers who will host Manchester City at the Molineux Stadium. City have a chance of leapfrogging Leicester into second place tonight, but Wolves have proven to be tough opponents for City earlier this season when they defeated the defending champions at 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium.

After a dreadful start to their season, they have done exceptionally well to climb into the top 10. A win tonight for the Wolves will see them in the 5th place and 1 point above Tottenham. Since they last faced City where they came out on top of their rivals, Wolves have lost just one game, and have done really well in the Europa League as well. They will be playing with high intensity and will look to break City on the counter. Joao Moutinho and Diogo Jota along with Adama Traore will be the main players tonight.

It’s certainly not the place where the defending champions would want to be in currently. They are currently 14 points behind leaders Liverpool, and it looks like they won’t be able to defend their title this time. A win tonight will give them a boost into the 2nd spot, however, they will be without star player Sergio Aguero. Gabriel Jesus, Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne will be the star performers tonight who will look to put City back in the 2nd place.

Dream11 Tips and Tricks for Today’s Premier League Match: Wolves vs Manchester City

Goalkeeper: It was a clear choice to pick Ederson Moraes over his Wolves counterpart. He has kept 6 clean sheets in 17 games and has conceded 17 goals so far.

Defenders: Otamendi has had a few bad games, however, he is still one of City’s top centre-halves. Nicolas has played 12 games out of which 2 were clean sheets and he has been involved in scoring 2 goals for his team. He has an average of 66 passes per game and has made a total of 32 clearances so far.

Pacey right-back Kyle Walker was our second choice for our defensive unit, as Kyle has been involved in 15 appearances for City of which he kept 3 clean sheets. Romain Saiss and Conor Coady make our last 2 players in the defensive unit.

Romain has made 66 recoveries and 58 clearances while Conor has made 123 recoveries and 66 clearances for Wolves this season. The defensive duo will be kept very busy by the City attackers and having faced them earlier this season, they will be up for another challenge tonight.

Kevin De Bryune has been in outstanding form for Manchester City this season. He has proved to be a proper centre midfielder who loves scoring goals or setting up his team-mates for a goal, which is why he has the most assists in the league. Leaving him out of our Dream11 team would have been a huge loss as this special talent is sure to be on the score sheet tonight.

Ilkay Gundogan was on the score sheet when Man City took on Leicester last weekend. He has scored just 2 goals this season, however, Ilkay is a special player who is mainly a passer of the ball and loves scoring goals in game-changing situations.

Joao Moutinho is another special player who is a great passer of the ball. He has scored 1 goal this season and registered 5 assists for Wolves and will be looking to do the same tonight against tougher opposition.

Raheem Sterling Has been exceptional for City this season. He is our first pick in the team as he has scored 9 goals and registered 1 assist and is expected to be on the score sheet tonight as well.

There were some talks of Gabriel Jesus moving away from City. He has had a decent contribution to the City’s goal-scoring statistics, having scored 6 times and registering 2 assists.

Raul Jiminez has been in exceptional form this season and it was hard to leave him out of a front three of our Dream11 team. He has scored 7 goals this season and has also registered 5 assists to his name. Should Raul get the right service tonight, he can upset the City defence with his skill and score a goal or two.

My Dream11 Team

Ederson Moraes (GK), Romain Saiss, Conor Coady, Kyle Walker, Nicolas Otamendi, Ilkay Gundogan, Kevin De Bryune, Joao Moutinho, Diego Jota, Gabriel Jesus, Raheem Sterling.
