Shubman Gill has won the IPL 2023 Orange Cap Award. His outstanding performance has brought his total run tally to 890, making him the current Orange Cap holder. In addition, Gill’s top score this season was 129 runs. With a strike rate of 157.8, Gill has been one of the most consistent performers in the tournament, scoring 3 centuries and 4 half centuries. His exceptional batting skills and phenomenal performance throughout the tournament earned him the coveted cap.

Rajasthan Royals opener Jos Buttler amassed 863 runs to win the Orange Cap in 2022. He scored 4 centuries and 4 half-centuries in last season of IPL. Joseph Charles Buttler is an English cricketer and in the IPL Auction 2023, Rajasthan Royals retained Jos Buttler for Rs 10.00 Cr.
