Furthermore, the WFI announced that they will declare the election results on the same day as the elections. To constitute the electoral college, each state and union territory must submit two nominations, with a deadline set for June 19. The scrutiny of these nominations will be completed by June 22.

With each state unit entitled to two representatives, the electoral college will consist of 50 votes. However, it has come to light that certain state bodies previously dissolved by the WFI are claiming their right to participate in the elections. The returning officer will evaluate the credentials of the representatives from these factions to determine who is eligible to vote.
