A Virat Kohli fan, who had vowed not to get married until Kohli’s 71st century, got married on the day when Kohli smashed his 74th.
The same fan was spotted earlier with a banner saying he won’t get married until Virat smashes his 71st international century. Kohli had gone without a century for nearly three years. However, in the Asia Cup against Afghanistan last year, Kohli displayed a stellar performance. Meanwhile, Virat coincidentally scored his 74th international hundred on the big day of his fan.

After Kohli’s 74th international century, the fan took to Twitter again to express his joy. The fan posted a picture of himself dressed in a Sherwani and wrote,
“I asked for the 71st century but he scored 74th on my special day.”
The Kohli fan’s post has gone viral and has garnered over a million views.
Virat started 2023 smashing two centuries in the 3-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. Kohli also won the ‘Player of the Match’ and ‘Player of the Series’ awards. Virat Kohli also hit the elite list of top 5 batters to have the most ODI runs in history.
