In a brief interlude, as Ravindra Jadeja and Ajinkya Rahane were diligently building a potential partnership to mount a comeback, the camera briefly shifted its focus towards the Indian dressing room. During that glimpse, Virat Kohli engaged in a conversation with Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan, and batting coach Vikram Rathour, all while enjoying a meal in the dressing room.

Virat Kohli nonchalantly enjoying his food stirred anger among fans, leading to a barrage of vicious attacks directed towards the former Indian captain. One fan, whose post gained significant traction, took to Twitter to express the discontent, stating: “Tendulkar didnt eat for 3 days after he got out early in that 2003 WC final. Meanwhile Kohli after getting out early in #WTCFinal2023”

Prior to the commencement of Day 3 at The Oval, Virat Kohli took to Instagram to deliver a powerful message. In his story, Kohli shared a thought-provoking statement: “You must develop the ability to be disliked in order to free yourself from the prison of other people’s opinions”.
