SL vs SA 1st ODI Dream11 Prediction: It is yet another bilateral series in the first cycle of the World Super League, and this time South Africa is all set to tour Sri Lanka in a complete white ball series. First up is the three ODI matches. Both teams look equally equipped to make a mark in this series and also win it. Sri Lanka will have the home advantage though, and South Africa will benefit from the quality of bowlers they have.

Sri Lanka is coming out of a loss against India in their last ODI series, but they got back into the rhythm after being 2-0 down in the series and winning the last match. They looked in a solid shape to defeat India and were easily able to do so. In fact, they were able to pull off a victory in the T20 games. Their confidence will be very high going in to face South Africa.

South Africa is not the team that they once were, they have not had a huge impact on the game in the past few years. They have quality players but have not been able to reach their complete potential. They tied their last ODI series against Ireland, and do not kook too high on confidence. A win in this series will be crucial to them now more than ever.

SL vs SA 1st ODI Dream11 Prediction | Fantasy Team

Heinrich Klaasen, Kusal Parera, Dinesh Chandimal, Avishka Fernando, Rassie van der Dussen (C), Aiden Markram, Wanindu Hasaranga (VC), George Linde, Dhananjaya de Silva, Tabraiz Shamsi, Kagiso Rabada

Wicket keepers

Heinrich Klaasen- Klaasen is a good keeper and is handy with the bat too. He can change gears at any point, which is what can be expected from a middle-order batsman. If need be, he can finish off games as well.

Kusal Parera- After being out for a while since the England bio bubble breach, Parera is now back in the mix and would want to make this one count. He is a very smart cricketer at the top and becomes very crucial for his side to score the most runs.

Dinesh Chandimal- He will be in this side as a batsman and not a wicketkeeper batsman. He is one of the most experienced Sri Lankan players currently and will have to take the responsibility to win the series along with some other senior players.

Batsman

Avishka Fernando- He had a good series with the bat against India, but he was not able to convert his 30’s and 50’s into big scores. If an opener gives the team a good start, the pressure is automatically released from the batsmen to follow.

Rassie van der Dussen- A promising talent who has often shown his match-winning abilities but has never been very consistent. This series will be very important to him going into the T20 World Cup later this year.

Aiden Markram- He is yet another senior player in the South Africa Squad and will have a responsibility to handle the pressure. South Africa did not do so well in their last series and this is their chance of redemption.

All-rounders

Wanindu Hasaranga- He has been the talk of the town since the series against India. Based on his all-around performance in that series, he has been picked in the IPL. In this series, the wicket will favor him and he will have to continue his form.

George Linde- He has had some good performances recently, and this wicket at the R. Premadasa will assist him. He is expected to perform well throughout the series.

Dhananjaya de Silva- Dhananjaya de Silva’s performance with the bat and the ball has been on and off. He has not had significant performance in a while now. It is high time that he step up’s his game and makes his presence felt.

Bowlers

Tabraiz Shamsi- This wicket of R. Premadasa is tailor-made for him. He is the no. 1 spinner in the world right now and should be able to perform the way he always does in white-ball cricket.

Kagiso Rabada- Rabad produces genuine pace, and these conditions might not suit him well. But the conditions would not bother him that much, he should be able to extract some wickets now and then.
