In a progressive move, ace Indian shuttler PV Sindhu has joined hands with the Pro-Volleyball League. This shall definitely give a boost to the Volleyball fraternity in India.
Sindhu, on Friday, became the brand ambassador of the inaugural edition of the Pro-Volleyball League. To note, the league has also signed Olympic medalist David Lee to join hands with them.
The inaugural edition of the volleyball league is to begin from February 2019.

Expressing her joy on becoming an integral part of the league, Sindhu said, “I have grown up to the stories of my parents playing volleyball and representing their teams and countries at various events.”
Having seen her parents play, Sindhu knows that volleyball is a high-energy and spectator-friendly sport. “The Pro-Volleyball League is a much-needed shot in the arm of the sport and with the likes of David Lee coming on board, it will be a great opportunity for the players here to learn from their experience”, Sindhu added.
David Lee: An International legendary Volleyball player to take Indian Volleyball to greater heights

Former volleyball champion, David Lee is a popular name. Highly known for his blocking abilities, Lee has played and won many championships and titles, at the international forum.
“I think the league will help grow the sport in the country and improve the sill set of the players by leaps and bounds. I have played professional volleyball across the globe and I am really looking forward to a new change here in India”, Lee quoted.

Both these star players will be shooting a promotional video with some of India’s best players, ahead of the Pro-Volleyball League, that is to take place in February 2019.
The league competition that is to begin from February shall be witnessing the participation of the ace Indian players such as Mohan Ukkrapandian, Ranjit Singh, Akhin Das, Gurinder Singh, Deepesh Sinha and Prabhagarn, to name some of those.
Mohan Ukkrapandian will be the captain of the Indian Volleyball team, is an important part of the team for almost a decade now and is one of the best volleyball setters in Asia.
