The sign of relief

The Japanese pair Akira Koga and Taichi Saito lost their semi-final fixture. Now the Indian pair have set their eyes on the road to Bali, Indonesia. The BWF World Tour finals will begin from 1st December 2021 to 5th December 2021.
Satwik and Chirag could have straight away booked their ticket to finals if they secured victory against the World no.1 pair. The pair of Marcus Fernaldi and Kevin Sukamuljo often referred to as ‘The Minions’ dominated the fixture with intense play and enduring long rallies. The Indian pair was not ready to go down so easily. The intense smashes were answered by energetic net lifts. Yet it wasn’t enough to get them through. Their hopes depended on the final spot. The Japanese pair was not ready to give up on it as they pursued it with their hot form. The Japanese pair failed to cross the line as they ended up facing defeat at the hands of Takuro Hoki and Yugo Kobayashi.
The Indian pair is the last duo to enter the tournament. Both men and women will represent India on the grand stage. Ashwini Ponnappa and N Sikki Reddy will represent India in the women category. BWF World Tour began in 2007 and finally in the year, 2021 India will be represented by the talented duo in both categories.
