These exceptional girls emerged victorious over competitors from Wushu powerhouses such as China and Indonesia on their path to earning these impressive medals. The participation of these girls, including the athletes from SAI NCOE, in the Moscow Wushu Stars Championship was fully sponsored by the government.

Revered Wushu athlete Pooja Kadian, one of the coaches of the Wushu team, stated,

“In previous years, the Wushu athletes had to pay Rs 1.5 Lakh each to take part in the Moscow Stars Championship. This time it was free because the Government sponsored the trip,” the 2018 Arjuna Awardee said.
