Upon his return to the national side for the 3-match ODIs series against Sri Lanka, India skipper Rohit Sharma was seen comforting a fan in Guwahati. A Young fan could not control his emotions upon meeting this brilliant Indian opener.

Ahead of the first ODI contest against Sri Lanka, Rohit stopped by to meet some fans present outside the stadium after the press conference. In that crowd, a young fan could not hold his emotions upon seeing Rohit Sharma and was in tears. Then Rohit walked towards the fan and tried to calm him adorably. He said,

Rone ka kya baat hai, chota bachcha hai tu. Itne mote mote gaal hai tere (Why are you crying, you are just a little boy. You have such fat cheeks),”

After that, Rohit Sharma clicked a selfie with the young fan before leaving.

Following the successful conclusion of the three T20Is, the Indian team will take part in three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka scheduled to begin on January 10 at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati at 1:30 PM IST.
