Pakistan star cricketer Mohammad Rizwan makes a big revelation that the shopkeepers refused to take money after Pakistan’s 2021 T20 WC win over Team India.
Rizwan said,
“When we won against India, that time, I thought it was only a match for me. It was because we won that game easily. But when I came to Pakistan, I realized how much it meant. Whenever I went to a shop, they won’t take money from me. They would say, ‘you go, you go. I won’t take money from you!’”
Rizwan added,
“People would say, ‘everything is free for you here’. This is the love from all of Pakistan after that match.”
Mohammad Rizwan is among the inherent players of the Pakistani team. Rizwan has been displaying phenomenal performances with fellow opener Babar Azam since last year. The duo has become quite popular, and their most popular performance is from the T20 World Cup. There Mohammad Rizwan in partnership with Babar Azam displayed a stellar performance. The duo registered an unbeaten 152 runs against Team India to beat them by 10 wickets. The duo also played a crucial role in taking the Pakistani team to the finals of the 2022 T20 World Cup.
Ben Stokes’ men handed a defeat to Pakistan in the second Test in Multan, taking a 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Pakistan will play their third Test match against England at Karachi on December 17. Meanwhile, Babar Azam’s team will play their first Test against New Zealand on December 26 in Karachi.
