India’s run chase

India didn’t have a good start. Ruturaj Gaikwad departed for 0. KL Rahul had a miserable Australian tour and the controversy that followed post the Koffee with Karan episode which made him miss 4 games but now he has got the permission to play with the enquiry pending.

Rahul found his form in the game. He made 42 (77). He hit 2 fours and 2 sixes. Ricky Bhiu made 35 (42) but it was the attacking Rishabh Pant that made the game an easy win for India. He made 73* (76) which included 6 boundaries and 3 sixes. He was also supported by Deepak Goods who made 47 (47).

India won the game with 6 wickets and nearly 4 overs to spare. The next match will be played on January 31.
