Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant took to social media to thank his rescuers, calling them heroes, and update fans about his wellness after facing a brutal accident last month. Pant wrote on Twitter,
“I may not have been able to thank everyone individually, but I must acknowledge these two heroes who helped me during my accident and ensured I got to the hospital safely. Rajat Kumar & Nishu Kumar, Thank you. I’ll be forever grateful and indebted.”

Rishabh Pant expressed his gratitude towards his rescuers who saved him after he met with the brutal accident. Pant wrote the heartfelt tweet mentioning the duo, Rajkat Kumar and Nishu Kumar. He also posted an image of them visiting him in the hospital.
Earlier on Monday, Pant posted his first tweet after the accident to thank his fans, teammates, doctors, and physios for their encouragement. This was followed by another tweet updating his fans about his successful surgery. Pant also thanked the BCCI, Jay Shah, and the government authorities, for their immense support. He wrote,
“I am humbled and grateful for all the support and good wishes. I am glad to let you know that my surgery was a success. The road to recovery has begun and I am ready for the challenges ahead. Thank you to the @BCCI, @JayShah & government authorities for their incredible support.”

Pant has been hospitalized since the accident on December 30, 2022. His car had collided with a divider, flipped multiple times, and burst into flames near Roorkee.
