IPL 2023: After getting defeated by Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals (DC) return home to look for redemption against IPL 2022 winner Gujarat Titans. The clash will take place on Tuesday at 7:30 PM IST and David Warner’s men will be sweating it out in the nets at the Kotla. The presence of Rishabh Pant against LSG was heavily missed as Mark Wood showed supremacy at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. But DC fans are likely to get a surprise at the Arun Jaitley Stadium as Rishabh Pant is likely to be at the venue to watch the team’s match against GT in the ongoing IPL 2023 on Tuesday, according to a PTI news report.

Pant met with a terrible car accident last December that ruled him out of competitive cricket for a long time. He underwent surgery on his right knee and has just started walking and rehabbing it.

An IPL source privy to the development in the DC camp told PTI on conditions of anonymity,

“Rishabh has always been an integral part of Delhi Capitals. There is a high possibility that he will be present for the season’s first home game against GT on Tuesday. He will definitely be in the team owner’s box but if ACSU allows, he might also sit for some time in the team dug-out,”

DC team hung their captain’s jersey number 17 on the roof of the dug-out saying that he is “always with the team in spirit” during the opening game against Lucknow Super Giants.
