Real Madrid vs PSG Champions League Dream11 Prediction 2019
It is MATCHDAY at the UEFA Champions League! And it is the Big Boys of Group A, Real Madrid who host Paris Saint-Germain for their 5th Group stage fixture at the Santiago Bernabeu.
A humbling 3-0 loss to the visitors in their last UCL outing at Parc Des Princes would not be in the heads of Zinedine Zidane’s men. They look confident and seem to have found some rhythm back having won against Real Sociedad in La Liga Santander earlier. Zidane seems to have regained some stability too and will definitely go for a win with the vociferous crowd support at home.
Although they were not in their fluent best in the 2-0 win against Lille, PSG still are formidable opponents on any given day. They sit five points clear at the top and have already qualified for the Round of 16 knockout stage.
Although, this is no reason that they might let loose, especially as the front three are back. Moreover, Angel Di Maria and Mauro Icardi have been really consistent in their absence.
They will try to win and keep their winning run intact. Madrid, on the other hand, will look forward to securing their place in the knockouts before the final group stage game.
Things did not start really well for the 13-time European champions, following a poor preseason and a poor start to the season with a 3-0 loss to PSG in the opening match and a draw against Club Brugge.
But 7 goals in 2 matches against Galatasaray before the international break and a smooth win against Sociedad has put them right back on track before this big fixture.
With the team playing some fluent football, the defence tightening up and Eden Hazard finally showing glimpses of why he was bought for 150 million euros, Zidane will look to go for the win and secure their place in the knockout stages.
If they lose will have to depend on Galatasaray snatching points from Club Brugge and if neither of that happens, Real have to wait for the final group stage game in Belgium and Zidane won’t like that too much. This is an almost must-win match for Madrid.-- Advertisement --
A team always looking to establish themselves amongst the cream of European football, PSG have always faltered in the later stages and have been blamed for their relative inexperience of playing against big teams and dominating the weaker French Ligue 1. A Champions League win is a must for that.
Well, like most seasons they have been off to a fluent start with no major reasons to worry; 4 wins in the UCL and even after losing 3 games in Ligue 1, they are sitting pretty comfortably on the perch of both.
Thomas Tuchel’s side have already qualified and a draw here would enable them to qualify as group toppers although they will fancy their chances and go for the win.

Dream11 Team and Analysis | Real Madrid vs PSG Champions League Dream11 Prediction 2019
Goalkeeper– Thibaut Courtois edges out Navas in this fixture due to Madrid’s defence tightening up and him being at his personal best in the season.
Defenders– The quick, hard-tackling Raphael Varane picks himself, and the rock-solid Thiago Silva makes the cut over Sergio Ramos who despite his solid performance against Sociedad tends to commit mistakes and switch off at crucial points. Dani Carvajal had a good match too and nudges ahead of Thomas Meunier while Juan Bernat is a better defender than Marcelo.
Midfielders- A lot of talent here and a few tough choices to make. Casemiro makes the cut as the enforcer for his physical brand of football and also for his knack of hitting crucial goals over his Brazilian teammate Marquinhos. It is hard to overlook Veratti, but I will choose Toni Kroos and Luka Modric as they are just better to make it an all Real Madrid midfield.
Attack- If the midfield is talented, the attack is something else. Everyone is world-class, and the choice is just based on form. Neymar is just back to competitive matches and needs more rhythm while Hazard has found his form and gets the nudge ahead of him, for being more complete and unselfish.
Mauro Icardi has been excellent in leading the attack in the absence of Cavani and would be my personal choice over Benzema who has been really brutal too. Mbappe gets the nod above Di Maria, who was looking really dangerous and Bale, who despite his solid performances, does not seem to stop the audience from booing him.
