Rohit Kumar put in a solid all-round performance to help Bengaluru Bulls to a stunning 41-29 win over Gujarat Fortune Giants in the qualifier 1 and storm into the finals of PKL Season 6 on Monday at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium.
Pawan Sehrawat continued his excellent run of form and top-scored for the Bengaluru Bulls with maximum raid points (13), while skipper Rohit Kumar scored 11 points.
Sachin, on the other hand, got yet another super 10 for Gujarat Fortune Giants and was nicely supported by Prabhanjan who scored five raid points but it was not enough in the end.
Pawan opened account of Bengaluru Bulls with a running hand touch in the second minute while Sachin got a two-point raid for Gujarat. It was Sachin who kept the Gujarat Fortune Giants going in the initial period of the match by picking bonus and raid points.
After 7 minutes of play, both teams were level on 7 points each as Prabhanjan made a successful raid for Gujarat Fortune Giants, whose famed defence was having a silent first half. In fact, it took 11 minutes for them to score the games first tackle points. It was an extremely cagey affair in the first half as both teams played with a bit of caution.

Bengaluru Bulls were reduced to just 3 men when substitute Sumit Singh made a crucial Do-Or-Die raid. At the end of the first half, Gujarat Fortune Giants held a slight one-point advantage to lead 14-13.
The first part of the second half was a close affair once again with the biggest surprise being Parvesh Bhainswal and Sunil Kumar struggling to get a tackle point. Gujarat Fortune Giants inflicted an All-Out in the 33rd minute to lead 26-20.
Pawan then came up with an excellent super raid, picking up 3 points to bring Bengaluru Bulls back in the game. Sehrawat followed it up with one more super raid as Bengaluru Bulls inflicted an All-Out to lead 29-26.-- Advertisement --
With less than 4 minutes to go, Bengaluru Bulls led 32-26 and looked in control of the match. In the 39th minute, Bengaluru Bulls inflicted an All-Out to ensure their place in the final.
While Bengaluru Bulls have qualified for the final, Gujarat Fortune Giants still have an opportunity to make it to the finals when they play in the second qualifier against UP Yoddha, who beat Dabang Delhi 45-33 in the second match of the night.
