Eliminator and Qualifiers Explained

Pro Kabaddi League started following the Zone method and thus the Eliminator format from 2017, after the addition of four new teams. The Eliminators are played after the league stage of the competition. There are a total of 3 Eliminators played to be played. In the first two Eliminators (E1 and E2), teams that have finished 2nd and third in their respective Zones will go against each other.

Winners of E1 and E2 will then lock horns in the third Eliminator, E3. Then comes the two Qualifiers which can be considered as the semifinal stage of the competition. The first Qualifier, Q1, is the match between Zone toppers. The winner of Q1 enters the final whereas the loser gets to play in the second Qualifier, Q2, where it plays against the winner of E3. The winner of Q2 is the second team of the finals.
