Prajakta was earlier a part of North Eastern Warriors. This young talented player would be now be contesting for Pune 7 in the upcoming season. She has a swift foot with the versatility of a mindful player who assesses the court before her competitors could. She would play alongside one of the world’s champions that are bound to hone her judgement and skills at the court.
M.R. Arjun (Men’s Doubles)
At such a young age, Arjun ranks 39th in the world and would be playing for Awadhe Warriors, making the squad one of the most powerful ones. He is one of the best buy till date. This youngster has shown tremendous work on his part and is sure to put forward a good play as he eyes the rewards with a balance.

A former Junior World No 1, Lakshya Sen, is a player boosting of his upcoming edition of the PBL where amongst the youngest players, the attention is sought after him. This teen prodigy is former Junior Number 1. The youngster has broken records and has a worthwhile scores to boast of.
His contest against Lin Dan was a tracked performance for his upcoming win this PBL season. He would be playing alongside Carolina Marin, Vladimir Ivanov, Chirag Shetty and other great players. Lakshya has been auctioned for 11 lakhs and given a chance this 17 year old prodigy holds immense talent to run down some big names off the league because of the energy he holds.

Auctioned at Rs. 2 Lakh by the Mumbai Rockets, this youngster has taken doubles to be her strength and is contesting to be one of the best competitors of this league. She would turn out to be one of the major contributors of the game. Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa are the duos we generally hear about and are ecstatic to watch but Kuhoo sets in her revolutionary tone.
Kuhoo has put put an exceptional series of wins that made her play the PBL. She is just 20 years old setting up a league and playing besides the eminent stars. She has won numerous International Challenge and International Series titles.

One player to stand against the storm and put her name in the league of the brightest stars is definitely Anura Prabhudesai. She is believed to continue the legacy created by Saina Nehwal and PV Sindhu.
This Indian is the first player from Goa to achieve No. 1 ranking in Badminton Association of India (BAI) rankings.
Anura, despite being a tall player, has a very swift movement on the court which helps her to unsettle her opponents easily. Injuries have been halting her performances at the senior level. But now she is completely fit to play in PBL. She has been bought for Rs. 1 lakh by the Mumbai Rockets which has players such as Lee Yong-Dae and Sameer Verma.
