NEUFC vs BFC Dream 11 Prediction 2019 | Bengaluru FC vs NorthEast United FC

The Hero Indian Super League’s 2nd match of the 6th season will feature Bengaluru FC who will take on NorthEast United FC at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru. Defending champions of the previous season Bengaluru FC will look to open their account with a win against the Highlanders who they knocked out in the qualifiers of the 2018-2019 season.

Bengaluru FC

Defending champions Bengaluru FC have retained a majority of their title-winning squad. Indian legend Sunil Chettri will spearhead the attack for the blues while India’s no.1 keeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu will be the man between the sticks. Bengaluru FC remained unbeaten in their title-winning campaign last year, drawing 3 games and winning 7 games. They will surely look to continue to maintain their record this season as they bring in the highly-rated Indian youngster Ashique Kuruniyan and old fan-favourite Eugenson Lyngdoh.

With a squad that is familiar with each other and the management that has a blue-print from the previous season to build upon, Bengaluru should easily cruise to a victory in a 3-1 win.

NorthEast United FC

The Highlanders have had a major overhaul of their squad that reached the playoff’s last season. Along with new management, the club has brought in Ghanaian striker, Asamoah Gyan who is one of the most high-profile signings in ISL this season. The Ghuwati based club will look to continue maintaining their attacking football DNA which worked for them last season with the additions of Uruguayan striker Martin Chaves and Argentine Maximiliano Barreiro.

Dream 11 Tips and Tricks for Today’s ISL Match: Bengaluru vs NorthEast

Goalkeeper: Gurpreet Singh Sandhu

India and Bengaluru no.1 keeper Gurpreet Singh kept 7 clean sheets in the 20 games he played for the blues last season. The highly-rated keeper should be on your Dream 11 not only because of the fact that he can make some stunning saves to defy the opposition strikers but also because he has a 76% save percentage from his previous season. With Gurpreet in the goal, Bengaluru didn’t lose a single game last season.

Defenders: Rahul Bheke, Juanan, Reegan Singh, Mislav Komorski

Bheke had an impressive season with Bengaluru in their title-winning campaign, in which he made 96 clearances, 43 tackles 31 blocks and 26 interceptions. He also scored 3 goals and gave one assist for the blues campaign. Partnering Bheke is his team-mate and Spanish defender Juanan, who made 152 clearances and 21 blocks for Bengaluru last season. To add to his defending capabilities, he had a passing accuracy of 84%.

Reagan Singh has been with NorthEast since 2015. In the 2018-2019 season, Reagan made 81 clearances and 32 blocks while making 55 tackles. Partnering Reagan in the midfield, the highly-rated Mislav Komorski joins him to complete a 4 man defence.

Midfielders: Udanta Singh, Milan Singh, Jose Leudo.

Highly rated Udanta Singh was brought in by Bengaluru to add in more composition to the squad and he will surely live up to it this season. Milan Singh, on the other hand, will look to enforce the midfield with his presence. Jose Leudo averages 45 passes per game, and his impressive passing stats of 85% will surely be a key presence in the midfield.

Forwards: Sunil Chettri, Asamoah Gyan, Chaves

Ghanaian star striker will look to make an impact for the Highlanders in his debut season. He earns his place in our dream 11 due to his goal-scoring abilities. Chaves is another new addition to the Highlanders team who will look to score goals and was brought in for that purpose. Sunil Chettri is another player who can’t be missed out on in the dream 11 team due to his impact in every game he plays.
