The inspirational story of Badminton powerhouse: PV Sindhu
The badminton superstar, Pusarla Venkata Sindhu is a professional badminton player. She was born to national-level volleyball players in Hyderabad, Telangana. She was herself inspired by Pullela Gopichand to pursue a career in badminton. At an early age of 18, she won bronze in the 2013 world Championship and broke Prakash Padukone’s record of 1983. It takes perseverance and dedication to be the very best in the world. She achieved her long-lived dream and became a golden girl.
The building blocks of PV Sindhu
The rising star of Indian badminton, PV Sindhu began her journey at a very young age. She sprinted towards her ambition like a gunshot and never looked back. In 2016, she turned the dreams of millions of Indians into reality by becoming the first Indian woman to win an Olympic silver medal, and the only second Indian badminton player to ever win an Olympic medal after Saina Nehwal. She also won a silver medal in Women’s singles at Commonwealth Games 2018. Moreover, she also won a silver medal at the BWF World Championships in 2017 and 2018.
Later in 2019, the shuttler became the first player from the country to be crowned as the BWF World Champion. She conquered her dreams like a warrior in a fairytale. She is a legendary badminton player who inspires the young aspirants to live their dreams.

The renowned Indian shuttler has been awarded and honored with Padma Shri, Arjuna Award, and Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award. Other than this, she has bagged several medals in different sports championships and inscribed her name in the golden book of fame. She is an epitome of sports in India.

PV Sindhu is an Indian professional badminton player. She was born to parents who were both national-level volleyball players. At the age of 18, she won the bronze in the 2013 World Championships, something not achieved since Prakash Padukone’s Bronze in 1983.
Throughout her career, Sindhu won medals and achievements at numerous tournaments including the Olympics and World Championships. Awarded with ‘Padma Shri’, ‘Padma Bhushan’ and ‘Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award’. She has become the epitome of Sports in India.
