Sumit Nagal Shines At Argentina Open: 150th rank Nagal beat 22nd rank Cristian Grain!

Sumit Nagal, star Indian Tennis Player has registered the biggest single’s win of his career. Nagal beat Cristian Garin of Chile in straight sets to enter the quarterfinals of the Argentina Open. A.O is the ATP 250 tournament going on in Buenos Aires.

Currently, Nagal ranks 150 in the ATP chart. Despite the fact, he showed a high-class game. He registered an impressive 6-4, 6-3 second round win over his Chilean rival. Cristian, who is ranked way above Nagal at 22nd spot in the ATP chart was stunned by Nagal’s game on wednesday. With this win Nagal is in the last eight of the Argentina Open.

Now, Nagal will face Spain’s Albert Ramos-Vinolas in the quarterfinals. Ramos-Vinolas is a clay-loving player. He is currently ranked 46 in the world rankings, 104 places above Nagal.

It will be Nagal’s maiden quarter-final appearance at the ATP Tour level. On the other hand Ramos-Vinolas had successfully defeated Domnik Koepfer of Germany, 7-5 6-4.
