Musheer Khan was born on February 27, 2005, in Kurla, Mumbai, and spent his childhood honing his cricket skills at Azad Maidan, a renowned local venue. Musheer Khan’s journey into cricket began at a young age, marked by his remarkable debut in the Kanga League at the tender age of eight in 2013, following notable performances in the Giles Shield.

Surpassing his brother Sarfaraz, who debuted at ten in 2007, Musheer showcased his talent by taking three wickets against Rajawadi Cricket Club at the Oval Maidan in his inaugural Kanga League match. His impressive performance continued as he claimed a five-wicket haul against Catholic Gymkhana. Finishing the season with 25 wickets from six matches, Musheer was rightfully acknowledged as the standout bowler of the tournament.

During an exhibition game pitting the media against Yuvraj Singh’s academy, an eight-year-old Musheer Khan showcased his talent by dismissing Yuvraj Singh, the celebrated hero of India’s 2011 World Cup victory. These notable displays propelled Musheer Khan to establish himself as a regular player in Mumbai’s youth cricket squads for the following ten years.
