On the other hand, history also says that Mumbai generally has never won an opening IPL game under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy. They would definitely like to break this unfortunate record this time. Last year, they really got near to win the opening game against Chennai Super Kings but Chennai Super Kings’Dwayne Bravo’s knock did not let this happen.
The good news for Mumbai Indians fans is also that South Africa wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton De Kock has been added to the squad to boost the batting department.
