This has to be the happiest news coming for the MS Dhoni fans. The former Indian captain who was dropped from T20Is against the Windies at home and Australia has made a comeback in T20Is against New Zealand.-- Advertisement --
Dhoni has been named in the 15 man squad. Kedar Jadhav has also made a comeback to the T20 team while Washington Sundar and Shreyas Iyer haven’t been included.
Manish Pandey has been dropped from both the T20 and ODI side. However, he was in fine form during India ‘A’ 50-over series against New Zealand ‘A’, scoring 158 runs at an average of 79, after having performed exceptionally well in the quadrangular ‘A’ series at home-- Advertisement --
Surprisingly though, Rishabh Pant who has been a Test regular has been axed from the ODI side. Dinesh Karthik, who hasn’t played an ODI since the Asia Cup, will be the second wicketkeeper.
Umesh Yadav has been left out from both the T20 and ODI team while Mohammad Shami who was left out of India’s 50-over squad for the final three ODIs against Windies makes a return.
