At Chanakyapuri, Delhi a memorandum of understanding was signed between Delhi Sports University (DSU) and the University of East London (UEL) on Tuesday. The DSU is a brand new institute of the Delhi government.
This MoU imparts leading-edge sports education to the athletes of India. It will also enhance the country’s dream in sports science. Both the universities will cooperatively work in research, exchange knowledge, and explore innovation opportunities.

This agreement will help establish new courses, professions, and careers in sports. Thereby improving and refining the sports environment in India.
The MoU was signed during the ongoing visit of representatives from 22 universities of the UK. It is the largest education delegation of the UK to India ever.
According to Barbara Wickham OBE, director of India, British Council, the inking of the partnership will bring immense value for the students looking to build their careers in athletics.
