Most Stumpings in IPL History | Cricket is a sport that entails disposition of players in various roles, especially in the fielding side. We have the fielders at different positions, such as the slips, the silly point, long on, long off etc. However, it is the wicketkeepers who play a very substantial role during the course of the game. And often, their contribution and their role are undermined. Keeping the wickets, contributing with the bat, keeping an eye on where the batsmen might want to hit the ball or the strategies that they may be devising, the wicketkeepers, quite rightfully, have their hands full most of the time. Compared to the rest of the fielders, the wicketkeepers must always be attentive because the opportunity to get the opposition out may present itself at any time. And they also have to be fast; really fast. Not to mention their field work should also be par or above excellence, cause often they will have to throw the ball to run out the batsmen.
