Virat Kohli, a famous cricketer, has scored the most runs ever in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He used to be the captain of both the Indian national team and the Royal Challengers team. Virat Kohli, who was born in Delhi, has played 244 matches for the Royal Challengers team and have scored a total of 7624 runs.

The Indian Spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal has taken the most wickets in the history of the IPL. He has scalped 199 wickets in 152 games, at an average of 21.47. His best performance in a match was taking five wickets for 40 runs. Since 2022 he is playing for Rajasthan Royals. Before him, Dwayne Bravo from Chennai Super Kings held the record with 183 wickets in 162 matches.

Star Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has hit the most centuries (8) ever in the league. He surpassed Chris Gayle’s record of six centuries during a match against the Gujarat Titans (GT) in the 70th game of the IPL 2023. Kohli scored his eight century in the IPL by making 113 runs off 72 balls while playing against Rajasthan in Jaipur. In total, he has scored 7624 runs in 244 innings with an average of 38.12, which also includes 52 half-centuries.

Harshal Patel: Most Wickets in a Single Season (32)

In the 2021 IPL season, Harshal Patel made history by taking the most wickets ever in a single season, getting a whopping 32 wickets! He played in 15 matches and achieved this incredible feat with an average of 14.34 and an economy of 8.14. Although his team, RCB, reached the playoffs, they didn’t win the trophy. One of the highlights of Patel’s outstanding performance was when he took a hat-trick against the Mumbai Indians.

Virat Kohli had an amazing IPL season in 2016. In 16 games, he scored 973 runs at an average of 81.08 and a striking average of 152.03. This is the most runs that a player has ever scored in an IPL season. Additionally, with four hundred in a single IPL season, Kohli holds the record. He scored seven fifty as well. That season, Kohli scored 113 against Kings XI Punjab, 109 against the Gujarat Lions, and 108 against the Rising Pune Supergiants, among his greatest innings.

Back in the 2013 season, while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Pune Warriors, he crushed an astonishing 175 runs off just 66 balls.
