MCI vs WOL EPL Dream11 Prediction 2019 | Man City vs Wolverhampton
An explosive affair is on the way as Manchester City take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Etihad. For City, it’s going to be another chance to close the gap between them and current frontrunners Liverpool, whose fixtures for the next few weeks are troublesome. Wolves sit in thirteenth place with seven points, and with the fatigue of the Europa League catching up with them, it is going to be nothing short of another Norwich-like shock if they upset the reigning champions.
Pep Guardiola goes into this match with injuries to some of his key players. Aymeric Laporte, John Stones and now Kevin de Bruyne are all out of this game, meaning the Pep roulette will be in full swing. Guardiola will be hoping to avoid the mistakes made against Norwich and secure a full three points against his opposition. Meanwhile, Wolves will be looking to prove they are not a one-season wonder after their glorious run last year. They had beaten the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United and given City and Liverpool a good run for their money. While a repeat of that is unlikely, one can never say for sure given the quality in the Wanderers’ squad.

Dream11 Team and Analysis: MCI vs WOL EPL Dream11 Prediction 2019
Goalkeeper – While Rui Patricio has certainly proved himself, this is a match which will be attack-oriented. City have the best attack in the Premier League, so going with Ederson is the safe and smart choice.
Defenders – Nicolas Otamendi has certainly established himself as the current first-choice centre back in the absence of Aymeric Laporte and John Stones. The makeshift pairing of Otamendi and Fernandinho has been doing well so far. Since this will be an explosive forward’s game, there will be little, if any, points contributed by defenders. A Wolves defence of Willy Noly, Conor Coady and Romain Saiss get the nod.
Midfielders – City’s dominance is established from here on. In the absence of Kevin de Bruyne, David Silva will function as the playmaker and will be looking to pass the ball into the box. Rodrigo Hernandez will feature as well for his defensive prowess, especially since Fernandinho has been moved to the back. Rounding up the midfield, Riyad Mahrez makes the cut over Ilkay Gundogan for his exceptional form and his ability to take brilliant free-kicks in the absence of de Bruyne.
Forwards – Raheem Sterling came off the bench and scored during City’s Champions League match against Dinamo Zagreb, so expect him to be a significant threat in the game, especially when it comes to whipping crosses inside the box. It is a toss-up between Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero, but we expect the latter to start just because he has no international duty. Also, along with Callum Wilson and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Aguero has never blanked so far. Rounding up the attackers, Wolves’ star striker Raul Jimenez makes the cut for his eye for goal.
