MCI vs EVE Dream11 Prediction | Manchester City vs Everton
Manchester City will begin the new decade by hosting Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton on New Year’s day at the Etihad Stadium. It will be an entertaining fixture as Everton have found a new passion with the appointment of Ancelotti. As the Premier League enters a new decade, let’s see how both the teams are set up for their first match of the new decade.
Manchester City
City ended the decade with a 2-0 win over Sheffield United. A couple of days before the win over Sheffield, Man-City were stunned by Wolves who claimed a 3-2 comeback against the defending champions. Although they were ten men down, City did get a two-goal advantage. However, some sloppy defending and a relentless Wolves attacking saw them not only give away the lead but also the match.
It again highlighted the Champion’s vulnerable side of defending, one which could be exploited by the Merseyside Blues. City will be looking to secure a win and gear up for the next half of the season with the hopes of catching up to Liverpool.

Everton
Carlo Ancelotti’s appointment as the manager brought in new life to the Merseyside club. They won the first 2 games of Ancelotti era with 1-0 and 2-1 victories over Burnley and Newcastle United respectively. Currently, on 25 points, a win will see them climb up one place at best.

Dream11 Tips and Tricks for Today’s Premier League Match: Manchester City vs Everton
Goalkeeper: Ederson is likely to feature in the fixture after being sent off in the 14th minute against Wolves. He has kept 6 clean sheets in 18 games and has conceded 17 goals so far. Ederson is likely to be on his feet again and could play an important part in the fixture against Everton.
Defenders: Kyle Walker, Fernandinho, Michael Keane, Leighton Baines
Walker’s abilities as a right-back have been tested tremendously this season. He was our first choice wingback as the player has an average of 66 passes per game and registered 32 crosses this season. Fernandinho has been installed in the centre back position by his manager for the last few games. He has made 94 recoveries and 48 clearances.
Michael Keane will be looking forward to this fixture as the Manchester United academy graduate has done well since joining Everton. Statistically speaking he has made 64 clearances and 73 recoveries averaging 40 passes per game. Leighton has been involved only in 3 games this season. However, he is likely to play against City as his experience could come in handy for Ancelotti.
Midfielders: Riyad Mahrez, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Richarlison
Algerian international Riyad Mahrez has made 10 goal contributions in the Premier League this season having scored 5 goals and assists each. He is likely to start in the squad against Everton, and the pacey winger makes the first midfielder of our Dream11 side.
Kevin De Bruyne’s growing influence on the squad has made it difficult for him to be left out of any Dream11 squad. He is a sure starter in Pep’s and our midfield 4.

Forward: Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Raheem Sterling
Dominic has scored 3 goals in the last 2 games for Everton. He is likely to start for Everton and could even score a goal against their opponents should the midfielders provide him with goal-scoring opportunities.
