“Ee Sala Cup Namade!” (This time the cup is ours)

Yes, its almost that time of the year, when this slogan buzzes among the supporters of
Royal Challengers Bangalore. Since the induction of the Indian Premier League (IPL), RCB has come close three times to win the trophy but faltered in the finals. After a devastating start last season, RCB players came together and were just one point away from playoffs. The team will be looking to get one better this time around.

Before the IPL Auctions 2020, the franchise released 12 players including 6 foreigners. RCB’s strength has always been their batting. However, the likes of Virat Kohli, ABD and Devdutt Padikkal will need some support. RCB will look to purchase a decent batsman, allrounders and an opening/death bowler.

I usually describe myself with three 'F's, i.e, Food, Football and Films. Born and Brought up in Bangalore since the mid-1990s, I have always had a huge interest in playing football, cricket and watching other sports. People who know me always tell I bleed football. Sports, and Football, in particular, has helped me through hard times and helped me to shape my view on the world. And that is one of the reasons why I want to serve as a Sports Journalist.
