Fastest bowler in IPL: Anrich Nortje: Delhi Capitals, South Africa

The South African Pacer was initially brought in as a replacement for Chris Woakes in IPL 2020. Nortje surprised everyone with his belting pace and turned out to be the fastest bowler in IPL. Fastest ball in IPL 2022: Umran Malik: Sunrisers Hyderabad, India

The J&K pacer, Umran Malik clocked a whopping 155.8 against DC in the 50th match of TATA IPL 2022. With that Umran Malik bowled the fastest bowled by an Indian in IPL, previously held by Navdeep Saini of RCB. Also, it is the 2nd fastest bowl ever bowled in IPL history.

The Australian turned out to be a fine purchase for KKR last season for 16 crores. This year the Australian pacer has been retained by the franchise for a whooping sum of 7.25 cr.
