Leicester City vs Liverpool Dream11 Prediction | LCFC vs LFC

Gameweek 19 of the English Premier League will see one of the most anticipated Boxing day clashes unfold as Leicester City welcome Liverpool FC. The gravity of the contest is massive since it will give us the potential champion for the season.

Liverpool are ten points clear of 2016/17 Champions Leicester City. If they win tonight, the Reds will have an unassailable lead of 13 points.

If they lose (and that is what the world wants at the moment!), it will mean another of the famous Liverpool ‘slips’ and might lead to a complete capitulation going into the second half of the season. Whatever be the case, we are in for an insane fixture without a doubt!

Both these sides have played 27 times, with Liverpool winning 14 times and Leicester winning 7 times. The fixture has become more fierce since Leicester’s title-winning season. In their last five meetings, Jurken Klopp’s Liverpool have come out winners 4 times.

Leicester City

Brendon Rogers Leicester has been a revelation this season, giving many fans hope of the surprise and inspirational title repeat season. However, recent form has hindered in their way of closing the gap between them and leaders Liverpool. In their last 5 outings, the Foxes have won 3, drew 1 and lost 1.

This season. LFC has scored 41 goals, just 1 less than their rivals today. Jamie Vardy is their top scorer with 17 goals, followed by James Maddison with 5 goals. Defensively, the foxes have conceded the least goals- 14 while keeping 7 clean sheets. A win tonight will put a huge hole in Liverpool’s unbeaten run this season.

Liverpool FC

Last season’s Champions League winners Liverpool are running riot in the PL this season. With 16 wins and 1 draw. Liverpool are on route emulating Arsenal’s 2003-04 season. They have been ruthless in scoring this season. The Reds have scored 42 goals and conceded 14.  However, they have kept only 4 clean sheets and are prone to conceding goals despite winning games comfortably.

The scoring charts for Liverpool are lead by Sadio Mane and Mohammad Salah. Both have scored 9 goals each this season. Liverpool will look upon these two again as they look to extend their unbeaten run in the league to 18.

Dream11 Tips and Tricks for Today’s Premier League Match: LCFC vs LFC | Leicester City vs Liverpool Dream11 Prediction

Goalkeeper

Kasper Schmeichel is our first choice since he has made more saves and kept more clean sheets. The Danish stopper has kept 7 clean sheets in the league so far and has made 46 saves in 18 matches.

Defenders

Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold will be our defenders from LFC. Alexander-Arnold is one of the best wingbacks in the world currently. He has scored 1 goal and assisted 6 times this season.

The Englishman has made 1,062 passes with an average of 62.47 passes per match. Apart from that, he also has 26 tackles, 26 interceptions, and 18 clearances to his name.

VVD is considered as the best defender in the world, currently. The big CB has scored 3 goals this season. He has made 13 tackles, 17 interceptions, and 89 clearances. With the ball at his feet, the Dutchman has passed 1,297 times at an average of 76.29 per game.

Leicester’s  Çaglar Söyüncü and Jonny Evans join in defence. Both of them have contributed 1 goal, and 1 assist this season. Defensively. 23-year-old Söyüncü has made 35 tackles, 33 interceptions, and 117 clearances. With 60 passes per match, Söyüncü has made 1,440 passes this season

Midfielders

James Maddison has been crucial for Leicester with 5 goals and 3 assists this season. He is the only player from the Foxes to play in our midfield. From Liverpool, we have Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum in the centre of the park.

Henderson has featured in 16 games for Liverpool this season in which he has scored just 1 goal and 2 assists. However, he has made 789 passes with almost 50 passes per game.  He also has registered 31 tackles, 14 interceptions, and 12 clearances.

Gigi Wijnaldum has scored 2 vital goals in 16  games for the reds. He has made 680 passes, averaging 42.50 passes per game. Gigi is also impressed defensively. He has made 18 tackles, 12 interceptions, and 18 clearances.

Forwards

Jamie Vardy is back with a bang for the Foxes. The striker has netted 17 times and made 3 assists as well. With Liverpool set to dominate possession, Vardy will be crucial in counter-attacking situations for Leicester.

Sadio Mane and Mo Salah both have scored 9 times each this season. Mane (5), however, has one more assist than Salah (4). Both of them will be vital in keeping Schmeichel busy in the Foxes goal.
