The stairway to success
The Indian mixed double pair leaped 11 places to make an entry into the top 15 in the world. It all became possible because of their sheer dedication and hard work.
Earlier this week, the qualified duo of Batra and Sathiyan were a part of the quarter-finals of the ITTF World Table Tennis Championship finals being held at Houston and as a bonus they earned 350 ranking points. Moreover, the title of WTT contenders in Budapest has also been won by the Indian pair of Batra and Sathiyan. Their victory in Budapest opened the doors to the semi-finals of the WTT contenders in Tunis.
Recently Sathiyan tweeted that “Historic feat as we become the first-ever Indian pair to break into the world top 15 in mixed doubles in the latest ITTF world ranking list,”
