UP Warriorz had registered 189, and Kiran Navgire was in phenomenal form. Kiran had smashed 43 off 26 deliveries until Issy Wong marked her existence in the 13th over. Wong’s next delivery was a cross-seam yorker on the leg stump against Simran Shaikh that sent Shaikh off. Issy Wong again went for the yorker against Sophie Ecclestone and made history by dismissing her in style.
After Wong’s hat trick, the UP Warrioz could barely register 26 more runs. The Warriorz got bowled out for 110 in 17. 4 overs. Harmanpreet Kaur’s Mumbai Indians cruised into the finals with a 72-run victory. Mumbai Indians will now clash against Delhi Capitals in the finals, on March 26, at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
