This year’s Indian Premier League (IPL 2019) has been so far nothing short of a roller-coaster ride. The tournament started with a rather dull encounter between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore. But since then, we have witnessed many thrilling and dramatic encounters this season.
CSK at the top

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) swapped places with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to move to the top of the IPL points table. CSK did not break too much sweat to help themselves to a 7-wicket win over KKR in match 23 of IPL 2019.
After being asked to bat first by home team skipper M.S. Dhoni, the visitors managed just 108/9, riding Andre Russell’s unbeaten 44-ball 50. Chasing a paltry 109 for victory, Chennai were never in trouble as South Africa captain Faf du Plessis carried his bat with an unbeaten 43 off 45 balls, his innings studded with three fours.
With Chahar’s brilliant dismissal of KKR’s top order batsmen and the spinner duo Harbhajan and Tahir sending back important players, it was all about the Kings’ bowling unit intelligence! Read the full report of CSK vs KKR here! #WhistlePodu #Yellove??https://t.co/LNtzEVkXDH
