Fortunately, Sai Sudharsan, the current holder of the Orange Cap, stepped up to the challenge, scoring a commendable 80 runs off 49 balls. He formed a good partnership with <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kusal_Mendis">Kusal Mendis</a>, who contributed 20 runs off 10 balls before a strange hit-wicket dismissal ended his innings.
