The Match 8 of the VIVO Indian Premier League 2019 will see last year’s runner ups Sunrisers Hyderabad welcome Rajasthan Royals at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad. The two sides had a forgetful start to their IPL campaigns in spite of playing whole heartedly. On one hand, the Bhuvneshwar Kumar-led SRH failed to defend a target of 181 against KKR and fell for a 6-wicket. On the other, Ajinkya Rahane’s Royals were humbled at home by Kings XI Punjab who won by 14 runs.
Nonetheless, both the teams will look forward to keep their disappointing start to the campaign aside and start afresh in the Friday’s match.

SRH vs RR Dream11 Prediction
Sunrisers Hyderabad started their campaign in style against KKR at the Eden Gardens. After facing an year’s sabbatical ,David Warner was back in action, hitting bowlers for boundaries . The Australian opener, who is looking to make his case for the national team at the ICC World Cup 2019, showed that he had not caught rust in the interim period as he raced to a blazing innings of 85 runs off just 53 deliveries.
Warner didn’t go anywhere…right?? Warner has issued a strong warning… #KKRvSRH #IPL

Jonny Bairstow (39) and Vijay Shankar (40) also chipped in vital runs as SRH reached a total of 181. However, it was their famed bowling attack that failed Hyderabad in the second innings. The likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar (0/37), Sandeep Sharma (1/42), and Shakib Al Hasan (1/42), all were unsuccessful in pressurising the KKR batsman, especially in the death overs.
Rajasthan Royals were also guilty of giving away runs in the first innings against KXIP. Jaydev Unadkat had the most disastrous evening of his IPL career as he gave away an incredible 44 runs off the three overs he bowled. That made for an economy rate of 14.67. Although Ben Stokes scalped two wickets, he also had a dismal economy rate of 12.00.
Ultimately, it were those extra runs conceded by them that proved to be the difference in the end as Royals fell short by 14 runs. Although the outcome may have been different had Ashwin not Mankaded a set Jos Buttler in the 13th over, but Royals can hardly complain as they had a fair chance of winning the match. However, a middle order collapse meant that they lost the match at the home turf.
Last point on the embarrassing & disgraceful act of @ashwinravi99 ! This win at all costs mentality has got to stop & the integrity of the game along with the spirit of the game must be of the most importance, as we need to set examples to the young boys & girls playing cricket !

Talking about a clear winner in Friday’s match, it feels like Sunrisers Hyderabad have the edge over Rajasthan Royals. They have the home advantage, a superior spin department, and an in form batting unit.
Dream11 Hint
The Rajiv Gandhi Stadium pitch is a heaven for spinners with its rough and dry surface. Don’t be surprised if both the teams swap a pacer to accomodate a spinner in their ranks. Moreover, Mohammed Nabi may also be in the offing to play for SRH. Rashid Khan is a must have, with Shakib Al Hasan, and Krishnappa Gowtham the other recommendations. Considering it will be a low-scoring affair, choosing only three batsman would be a wise decision.
