IPL 2019 RCB vs DC Dream11 Prediction | Preview

Match Date: 7th April , Sunday
   Match Timing: 4:00 PM

   Match Venue: M Chinnaswamy Stadium

The Match 20 of VIVO Indian Premier League 2019 will see Royal Challengers Bangalore welcome Delhi Capitals at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The RCB side have had a poor IPL campaign this year, losing all their five opening matches. Although that doesn’t necessarily mean elimination from the tournament, what it does mean is that they will have to win all of the remaining matches, with a good run-rate.

Delhi Capitals too didn’t have a great season as well, losing two of their five games. As a result they are placed at the fifth position with four points.

Here is the detailed analysis of the Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Capitals IPL match:

RCB vs DC Dream11 Prediction

Things are not going Royal Challengers Bangalore’s way, no matter what they do. They have tried all the permutations and combinations, but to no effect. Their match against Mumbai Indians was marred by a controversial no-ball delivery that was never detected. On Friday against KKR as well, they were on road to the first victory only to concede a huge 53 runs in two overs. Although they can still make it to the play-offs, it may be a big call for the current RCB squad.

Delhi Capitals don’t have as bad a situation, but they still need to get things straight. In spite of boasting of an impressive batting lineup, it has failed to click off late. This was evident in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, when they bundled for only 129 runs on a batting home pitch of Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium. Rishabh Pant, Rahul Tewatia, and Colin Ingram all were dismissed for 5 runs.

RCB vs DC Head to Head

Traditionally, RCB have been the dominant force of the two, winning 15 matches as compared to DC’s 6 wins. They won 2018’s both the fixtures including a 6-wicket victory at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. AB de Villiers was the star of the evening after scoring an unbeaten 90. Virat Kohli has been a top performer against DC, having scored a combined 785 runs. Amongst bowlers, Yuzvendra Chahal with 12 wickets has been the top wicket taker.

Predicted Winners

Going by the form of both the teams, it seems that Royal Challengers Bangalore are better placed to win the fixture against DC. There is immense pressure and they have shown signs of revival of late. This will be their breakthrough match, hopefully.
