The IPL 2019 auction is all set to take place today in Jaipur. Different IPL franchises will have their plans in place as they look to build their respective teams for the upcoming season. A total of 1003 players had originally registered for the auctions – out of which 346 players were finally shortlisted. Four players were added later on in the list taking the number to 350. Out of it, 228 Indian players will be up for grabs at the auctions.

The auction will also see 119 capped, 229 uncapped and two players from the associate nations also go into the auctions. The base price for the auctions has been set to Rs 2 crore and only 9 players have been included in the list. The list of players included in this bracket are Brendon McCullum (New Zealand), Chris Woakes (England), Lasith Malinga (Sri Lanka), Shaun Marsh (Australia), Sam Curran (England), Colin Ingram (New Zealand), Corey Anderson (New Zealand), Angelo Mathews (Sri Lanka) and D’Arcy Short (Australia).
