Another IPL Game. Another thriller. The group stage matches of Indian Premier League never ceases to amuse us with their edge of the seat, thrilling action. Most of the recent contest have been last ball, or at least last over business, and the match between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals was not an exception.
A last over thriller at the Wankhede. We loved the overall cricket on display, how about you?#MIvRR pic.twitter.com/pod1dXOpEc

In this case, Rajasthan Royals were cruising at 170/2 in the 17th over while chasing a 188. With 18 needed off 19 balls, the game suddenly took an unexpected turn when with the dismissal of Sanju Samson. From 170/2 the score reached to 174/6 in a matter of two overs with Jasprit Bumrah and Krunal Pandya both scalping 2 wickets apiece. Nonetheless, Royals just managed to save blushes, and two crucial points, as Shreyas Gopal hit the winning boundary in the final over. Quinton de Kock’s knock of 81 was overshadowed by another wicket-keeper – Jos Buttler’s 89 off 43 deliveries. He was rightfully adjudged the Man of the Match.
Buttler’s incredible strike of runs in Alzarri Joseph’s over was also the talking point of the match. The England batsman hit the bowler for 6 consecutive boundaries – 6, 4, 4, 4, 4, 6.

This #RajasthanRoyals is built on the pillars of Jos Buttler and Jofra Archer. They need support. See the difference Ajinkya Rahane and Shreyas Gopal's performances made today

Mumbai will rue 2 dropped catches towards the end. Fine win for Rajasthan, but after the delight and relief must ask why they made it so difficult for themselves? When target could conceivably be reached in singles, why try and hit every ball for 4? Poor thinking

Not for the first time in this season #MI finished with at least 20 fewer than they should have….and looks like they’ll be regretting it tonight too. Jos-The Boss. #IPL #MIvRR
