Pant’s performance has been on a different level when it comes to IPL. Rishabh Pant has already taken IPL 2019 by storm by smashing 78 off 27 balls to help Delhi Capitals post 213 for six in their allotted 20 overs. Pant’s knock included 7 fours and as many sixes with every single Mumbai Indians bowler bearing the brunt of Pant’s aggression.
In this IPL, Delhi Capitals has the full potential to qualify for the IPL 2019 knockout stages with Pant being a strong probability for the Orange Cap.
Notably, Pant was recently named the ICC Emerging Player of the Year at the 2018 ICC Awards.
The captain of Mumbai Indians team since 2013, Rohit Sharma has a unique style of finishing every IPL match with a six. Till now, he scored one century and a hat trick. Also, he has scored more than 4000 runs in his entire IPL career.
Previously, Sharma played for Deccan Chargers until 2011 after which he was taken by Mumbai Indians. In 2015, he led Mumbai Indians to win the IPL title by beating Chennai Super Kings by 41 runs in the final. He also won the Man of The Match award in the finals.
In 2017, the Mumbai Indians again won IPL under his captaincy. However, they did not have a great time last year and could not qualify for the playoffs. But considering Rohit’s current performance, we are sure Rohit Sharma would give a tough fight to the competitors for Orange Cap.
The Australian top order batsman, Chris Lynn, is known for being an explosive batsman, much capable of hitting huge sixes.
The right-handed opener has played a total of 28 IPL matches, and he has scored 875 matches at an average of 35.
Purchased for a whopping amount of Rs. 9.6 crores by Kolkata Knight Riders, Lynn is a huge boon for the team.
Lynn first joined KKR in 2014 and has been giving the team his best scores. Hoping his comeback will be definitely powerful enough to own the Orange Cap this season.
David Warner is back with on the side of Sunrisers Hyderabad this time, after being banned by the BCCI last year due to the ball-tampering scandal of March 2018.
Notably, Warner was the captain who led the Hyderabad to their only IPL title in 2016.
This time, he is back with all the charm like he never left. He will definitely prove to be a great boon for his team and will provide much-needed experience to Hyderabad, especially after they had to trade Shikhar Dhawan, their former captain, to Delhi Capitals.
Among the foreign players, Warner is the highest scorer in the IPL, with 4014 runs at a strike rate of 142.13. Last year, Hyderabad made into the final without him and his addition will be a silver lining to the cupcake this time.
