The Indian football squad has experienced a remarkable season, securing three championships under the guidance of head coach Igor Stimac since the year commenced. The team’s impressive performance is highlighted by their ascent to the 99th position in the FIFA World Rankings. Nevertheless, amidst these accomplishments, there have been perplexing reports suggesting that Igor Stimac consulted astrologer Bhupesh Sharma (Delhi Based) regarding the players’ horoscopes prior to India’s matches.
According to reports, Stimac shared a roster of 11 potential players with an astrologer prior to the Asian Cup qualifier match against Afghanistan, seeking an assessment of the players’ astrological conditions at the kickoff moment.
Surprisingly, in accordance with the astrologer’s predictions, two well-known athletes remained unidentified in the initial roster due to unfavorable celestial alignments on the day, as per Sharma’s assessment. Igor Stimac consulted astrologer Bhupesh Sharma to help make decisions for the starting lineup.
Based on the report, this was not a singular occurrence but happened repeatedly, with Stimac and Sharma sharing numerous text messages on the same subject. During the period from May to June, India participated in a friendly match against Jordan, followed by three Asian Cup qualifying matches against Cambodia, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong. It has been noted that Stimac maintained communication with Sharma, who was introduced to the Croatian coach through Kushal Das, the former secretary general of AIFF.
