After the tremendous year of 2022, a new year awaits more thrilling actions and glories by Indian athletes on global stages. India will participate in various tournaments and international competitions in various sports in 2023. The year 2023 will act as a warm-up for a few Indian athletes in one of the biggest sports events- the Paris Olympic Games in 2024.
Indian athletes will get a chance to test their skills as they will compete against the world’s best athletes in the upcoming Asian Games, Men’s Hockey World Cup, AFC Asian Cup, World Athletics Championships, All England Badminton Championships, and other big events.
At the beginning of the year 2023, India’s first major contest will be the men’s hockey World Cup in January 2023. In March 2023, All-England Badminton Championships will take place where the likes of Lakshya Sen, HS Prannoy, and Kidambi Srikanth will perform. In the latter part of 2023 or early 2024, the Indian men’s football team will take part in AFC Asian Cup 2023 which will take place in Qatar
