India had lost its best batswomen early and now the middle-order batswomen Mithali Raj and Veda Krishnamurthy served as a hope to the team.

India was not having a good time playing against England. Mithali, who served as a hope was out for 7 by Kate Cross and also Veda got dismissed taking India down to 46/5.
