The 1st T20 of the three-match series will see Team India host West Indies at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. The two last played the game’s shortest format back in August. The Men in Blue were the triumphant side, winning three of the three T20Is. Krunal Pandya was the Man of the Series with the young brigade wrecking havoc in the Caribbeans. Can the hosts repeat the feat again?

|[icon name=”cloud” class=”” unprefixed_class=””] Weather Conditions||21°C, 80% humidity, 8 kmph. Clear weather.|
|[icon name=”circle” class=”” unprefixed_class=””] Toss Advantage||The Hyderabad has not witnessed even a single T20I. The only T20I scheduled to be played here between India and Australia was abandoned without a single ball played.
However, considering the 2019 IPL stats, teams batting first have won on 5 occasions as against the three teams batting second.
|Pitch Conditions||The Hyderabad pitch is famous for pulling out surprises. At times, there might be uneven bounce while on the others, there might be value for spinners. Considering that there will be dew in the second half of the game, teams would want to bowl first.|

Fantasy Cricket Tips for today’s cricket match
Indian team is on fire! The Men in Blue recently became the first team to win four successive innings-victory in Test cricket. The hosts first thrashed South Africa 3-0 before taming the Bangladesh tigers, again by 3-0. Considering their rich vein of form in the Test cricket on home soil, India will be looking to replicate similar performances in the game’s shortest format.
As for the team news, the good news is that skipper Virat Kohli, who was rested for the T20 series against Bangladesh, will be returning back to the T20I action. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul are expected to open the innings as usual while Kohli and Shreyas Iyer form a solid middle order. The latter was effective in India’s last T20I, where he scored a fast wire 62 off just 33 balls.
Manish Pandey should also make the cut, having witnessed an impressive outing in the domestic circle. The Karnataka skipper lead his team to the Syed Mushtaq Ali title hours before his marriage to actress Ashrita Shetty. He would be looking to replicate that form on the international front.
It might be a tough outing for the visitors though. West Indies have been in a slightly shaky form off late. After the 3-0 whitewash by the Indians at home, the Caribbeans suffered another series (2-1) loss at the hands of minnows Afghanistan. Scoring runs has been amongst their leading problems, with the opening order struggling for form. Considering Indian team’s form off late, another forgetful tour for the Men in Red.
India are the hands-down favourites to win this particular contest. Except for the solitary defeat against Bangladesh in the second T20I, they have been impeccable at home. India have won the last six matches against West Indies and with Virat Kohli returning back to the starting XI, things cannot get any worse for the visitors. So the real question is not who will win. It is by how much.
