Team India moved on from the heartbreaking semi-final defeat of the 2019 World Cup in style by securing the T20I series against West Indies. What was special about the victory against the reigning World T20 champions was the role of the youngsters and upcoming players. The likes of Navdeep Saini, Rishabh Pant, Krunal Pandya, and the Chahar brothers have all made the most of the opportunities afforded to them. Will the ODI series end in a similar fashion with a couple of ‘finds’ to take back home?

India vs West Indies Dream11 Prediction | Fantasy Cricket Tips
Rising up again after a high fall is never easy. It needs character and extreme restraint. And this is exactly what the Men in Blue did in the T20 series against West Indies. Agreed, playing a T20 series after featuring in the world’s biggest cricket stage may feel futile. But that is what made the contest further challenging. And Team India passed the test with flying colours.
The youngsters were the biggest winners, having impressed everyone with their performances. Navdeep Shami scalped a total of 5 wickets, including a man-of-the-match performance of 3/17. Rishabh Pant also scored a fighting 65* to help India bag the T20 series 3-0. Deepak Chahar was spot on in that match with figures of 3/4. It is unsurprising that even the man-of-the-series award was won by another upcoming cricketer, Krunal Pandya.
However, things are vastly different in the longer format of the game. We expect the likes of Shreyas Iyer and Mohammad Shami to make it to the side with Pandya and Khaleel Ahmed being rested. It is about the former that we are most excited about. Having missed out on the World Cup team even after a fairly successful domestic and IPL season, this could be his chance to shine bright. With the team still having a bit of anxiety at the No.4 spot, could he be the long term solution?
India are the undoubted favourites going into the game, considering squad strength and momentum. West Indies may have the home advantage but they have their vulnerabilities with the bat and the ball. The lack of a leader amongst the ranks magnify their problems further.
Predicted Winner: India
Youngsters were the star of the T20 series and expect something similar in the ODI series as well. Pacers will stand a chance on the bouncing pitches of Providence. You can trust Navdeep Saini and Mohammad Shami for this contest.
