The Indian team got off to a flying start against Citizen AA, with a first-minute goal by Sai. Priyanka doubled the lead in the 16th minute before Citizens pulled one back in the 23rd minute. The game would have been level going into the half time if it wasn’t for center-back Nirmala’s goal-line clearance in the 36th minute.
Priyanka’s second goal of the game and third on the Hong Kong tour helped India take the 2-goal lead once again. Kiran and Amisha scored a goal each in the last 10 minutes to put the game beyond Citizen’s reach. With the 5-1 victory, the Indian U-17 team has now scored 14 goals in three games while conceding just 2.-- Advertisement --
